Ariadna Maria Gutierrez Arevalo (born 25 December 1993) is a Colombian model, actress, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Colombia 2014. She represented Colombia in the Miss Universe 2015 competition on December 20, 2015, and finished first in the runner-up race after host Steve Harvey mistakenly announced her as the winner. Her birthplace was Sincelejo in Colombia. When she was just seven months old, her family moved to Barranquilla, where she was raised. She attended the German School in Barranquilla. She is a cousin to Miss Universe 2014 winner Paulina Vega. Gutierrez represented Colombia in the 64th Miss Universe pageant. However she was not the winner from Colombia. Harvey realized after Gutierrez was awarded the crown she was not the correct outcome and should have named her the 1st place second-place winner, and Pia Wurtzbach from the Philippines the winner. 5 The first win was the second one after Venezuela 2008-2009. Paulina Vegas is also from Colombia.
