Camila Queiroz

 Camila Tavares de Queiroz, born 27 June 1993 in Brazil, is an actress and model. She is most well-known for her role in the role of Angel or Arlete Brito Gomes in the award-winning series Verdades Secretas. She has earned numerous award for her portrayal of the character.Camila was born in Ribeirao Preto, Sao Paulo. Her family is humble Her mother is a hairdresser, and her father is a carpenter. Camila is the middle daughter of two sisters: Caroline Queiroz (the mother) and Melina Queiroz (the father). She was the winner of the Pernambucanas Faces contest in the national phase and signed an agreement with Ford Models. She was 16 years old when she left for Japan through an agency local to her. At the age of 18 she moved to New York City continuing her modeling career. She took part in international campaigns, including the Armani Exchange brand.Camila lived in the United States for three years, until her 21 years old when she was called to test Rede Globo to live as model in the book Walcyr Carrasco Verdades Secretas where she appears the role of Angel or Arlete an innocent young girl who dreams of being a rich and successful model and ends up in the world of luxury prostitution. Camila did not have any work as an actress, but received praise from director and received numerous awards for her role as the main character of the novel. Marcio Garcia and Camila also made their debut as hosts for the annual special CELEBRATES Brazil.
