Claire Foy

 Claire Elizabeth Foy, born 16 April 1984 is an actress from the UK. British actress. She is most famous for her role as the young Queen Elizabeth II in the initial two seasons of The Crown, a Netflix show The Crown, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Leading Actress in an Drama Series.Foy studied drama at Liverpool John Moores University and the Oxford School of Drama, then made her debut on screen in the first episode of the series about supernatural comedy Being Human (2008). Following her professional performance debut on stage at the Royal National Theatre, she played the title role in the BBC One miniseries Little Dorrit (2008) and made her debut on film in the American historical fantasy drama Season of the Witch (2011). Following her leading roles in the television series Crossbones (2014) as well as The Promise (2011), Foy was highly praised for her performance as Anne Boleyn, the villainous queen in BBC's Wolf Hall (2015). Foy was awarded an British Academy Television Award nomination for Best Actress.
