Barbi Benton

 Barbi Benton (born Barbara Lynn Klein; January 28 1950) is an American retired model, actress, TV celebrity and a singer. Her appearances in Playboy magazine as well as her role as a regular on the comedy show Hee Haw for four seasons are the most notable. She also recorded several modestly successful albums in the 1970s. Following the birth of her first child in 1986, Benton retired from show business to focus on raising her family.She was born in Sacramento and attended Rio Americano High School and received a variety of classes - from scuba diving to piano, and even some "tearoom modeling" during her time at school. She was accepted to UCLA to study veterinary medicine but was forced to abandon that career option because she couldn't resist seeing blood.At the age of 16, she started to model. After her high school years, she went to UCLA and, when she was 18 took a job with Playboy to be a part of their entertainment show Playboy After Dark. She started out as an extra, but Hugh Hefner became infatuated with Benton and she was soon promoted to co-host.
