Bruce Buffer

 Bruce Anthony Buffer (born May 21 1957) is an American professional mixed martial arts announcer, and the official octagon announcer for UFC events. He was known on TV as the "Veteran Voice of the Octagon". Buffer's slogan is "It's time! Buffer announces UFC's main event. of UFC prior to when it starts. He is half-brother with Michael Buffer, a professional wrestling announcer and boxing announcer, and also serves as the CEO and President of The Buffer Partnership. Buffer holds a black belt in Tang Soo Do and has been a kickboxer.Buffer first ventured into martial arts when he reached thirteen years old . He lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, studying Judo, and eventually earning the rank of green belt. Buffer moved to Malibu, California with his family at fifteen and befriended two of the students of Chuck Norris, who introduced him to Tang Soo Do, in which he has a second degree black belt. He began to kickbox in his twenties but had to quit the sport up at 32 after suffering his second concussion.In 1996, Buffer announced the preliminary fight on UFC 8, and later hosted all fights at UFC 10. In 1997, he appeared as himself on the Season 3 Episode 24 of the Friends sitcom, "The One with the Ultimate Fighting Champion". In the episode, he convinced UFC owner Robert Myer to hire him as the ring announcer full-time, starting at UFC 13.
