Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, from Cuba, American singer/songwriter (/k@’mi:l@ k@’beIoU/; American Spanish pronunciation: [ka’mila ka’bejo]), was born March 3, 1997. She rose to prominence as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which became one of the most successful girl groups of all time. Cabello was a part of Fifth Harmony and began to become a solo performer with the releases of "I Know What You Did the Last Summer" (with Shawn Mendes) and "Bad Things" together with Machine Gun Kelly. The album reached the top four spots on the US Billboard Hot 100. In the latter half of 2016, she walked out of Fifth Harmony. The debut album of her studio, Camila (2018) reached number one on US Billboard 200. The RIAA gave the platinum award to the album with a Latin-influenced sound. It was well-received by reviewers. The album's lead single, "Havana", reached the top of the charts in many countries including the UK and the US.
