It became the most successful solo female debut album in the history of country music. She won three Grammy Awards for the album and also won Best New Artist. Carnival Ride (2007), her second studio album was one of the best opening weeks ever by an artist of female origin. The album also garnered two Grammy Awards. The third album she released, Play On (2009) was preceded by her single "Cowboy Casanova", which had one of the largest single-week increases in the Hot 100.
