Cassidy Freeman (born April 22, 1982)is an American actress and singer. Her most well-known roles include roles in the role of Tess Mercer in The CW's superhero drama Smallville, Amber Gemstone in the HBO series The Righteous Gemstones, and Cady Longmire in A&E's modern western Longmire.Freeman has been on screen three times in the CBS crime drama series CSI. In October 2009, she was in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation season 10, episode 4, called "Coup of Grace". She was in CSI: NY episode 8: "Indelible" in September 2011. She appeared on CSI: NY season 8 episode one, September 2011. She was a part of YellowBrickRoad, a thriller directed and written by Andy Mitton. Freeman also played the character Veronica Sharpe in the award-winning short film Razor Sharp. The film was awarded "Best Action Film" at the 2007 Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival.
