American actor Demi Gene Moore (/d@/mi/ Demi Gene Moore (born d@/MEE, nee Guynes 11th November 1962) is also popularly referred to as Demi Gene Moore. Following her debut in film in 1981, Moore appeared on the soap show General Hospital (1982-1984) and later gained recognition as an actor in the Brat Pack. She was seen in Blame It on Rio (1984), St. Elmo's Fire (1985) and About Last Night... (1986). 14) She made her breakthrough with her lead part in Ghost (1990) that was the highest-grossing film of that year. Her performance was praised and resulted in a Golden Globe nomination. She had further box-office success in the early 1990s with film A Few Good Men (1992), Indecent Proposal (1993) and Disclosure (1994). Moore was the highest-paid actress of film history in 1996 when she received $12.5 million to appear in Striptease. She had starring roles in three films: The Scarlet Letter (1995), The Juror (1996) and G.I. Jane (1997). The majority of them failed commercially and led to her career slipping. Her career has since experienced an upswing with supporting roles in films like The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), The Hunchback of Notre Dame II (2002), Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003), Bobby (2006), Mr. Brooks (2007), Margin Call (2011), and Rough Night (2017).
