 Dwayne Douglas, a.k.a as The Rock, was born on May 2nd on the 2nd of May, 1972. He is an American-Canadian actor and producer. The Rock is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time He was a key player in the development and success of the WWE during the Attitude Era, an industry boom period in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Johnson wrestled with WWF/E for 8 years before pursuing an acting career. His films have grossed more than $3.5 billion in North America and over $10.5 billion across the globe, making him one the top-grossing and most-paid actors.Prior to his emergence as a top-grossing actor beginning in the late 2010s, Johnson was an athlete. In his time at Freedom High School in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley, he ultimately was a star on the school's wrestling and football teams. They competed in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference, a conference known for producing top professional and Olympic athletes. He credits his high school football coach with helping inspire transformative changes in his life that prior to joining sports in the 11th grade was characterized by violence and minor infractions as a teenager in high school.
