Fran Drescher

 Rancine Joy Drescher was born September 30 the 30th of September, 1957. She is an American comedian, writer activist, and leader of trade unions. Her character of Fran Fine in The Nanny (1993-1999) is her most well-known role. She was also in American Hot Wax (1978) as well as Wes Craven's horror film Stranger in Our House (1978). The 1980s saw her gained fame as a comedic actor in films such as Gorp (1980), The Hollywood Knights (1980), Doctor Detroit (1983), This Is Spinal Tap (1984) and UHF (1989) as well as establishing a television career with guest appearances on a variety of shows. In 1993, she achieved greater fame as Fran Fine on her own sitcom The Nanny, for which she was nominated for two Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Television Series during the run of the show. In the decade 2000, Drescher starred in the sitcoms Living with Fran and Happily Divorced. She has also been a major character in animated Hotel Transylvania films since 2012.
