Jennifer Hudson

 Jennifer Kate Hudson (born September 12th 1981) and also known by her nickname J.Hud is an American singer, actress and talk show host. In her professional life, she has received various accolades for her works in the fields of recorded music, film TV, and theatre. Hudson became the youngest woman and the second woman of African descent to be awarded all four of the major American entertainment awards: Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony (EGOT). In 2013, she was also awarded a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame. Time declared her one of the top 100 influential people worldwide in the year 2020. She rose to fame as a finalist in American Idol's third season in 2004, where she placed seventh. In 2006 she made her feature debut on film with Dreamgirls as Effie the role, which played her in the role of Effie White. She won the Academy Award in Best Supporting Actress for the musical, and was the youngest winner of African descent in a competitive acting category. After signing to Arista Records, Hudson released her debut studio album, self-titled in 2008 it was certified Gold in the US as well as the UK and was awarded the Grammy Award for Best R&B Album.
