Jill Hennessy

 Jillian Noel Hennessy, born November 25, 1968, is a Canadian actor from Canada. Her most famous roles include those on American television's Law & Order where she was Claire Kincaid, a prosecutor for three seasons. Crossing Jordan was her character on the show as Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character, for six seasons. She has also appeared in movies such as RoboCop 3 and Most Wanted, and the indie films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class The Acting Class, which she wrote as well as co-directed.Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. Her father, John Hennessy, was a meat salesman as well as a marketing executive. It was a job that required extensive travel, which caused frequent changes for the family. Maxine was her mother. She was secretary. Her daughter was left behind by Eleanor her paternal grandmother who lived in Kitchener, Ontario. She has a younger brothernamed John Paul "J.P." Hennessy, Jr., and a twin sister identical to, Jacqueline, who is a magazine writer and TV.
