Nick Cannon

 Nicholas Scott Cannon was born October 8, 1980. He is an American comedian, television host actor, rapper and performer. In television, Cannon began as a teenager on All That before moving to host The Nick Cannon Show, Wild 'n Out America's Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties and The Masked Singer. Cannon starred in the movies Drumline and Love Don't Cost a Thing. As a rapper, he released his self-titled debut album in 2003 with the single "Gigolo", a collaboration with singer R. Kelly. He was a character in the movie Goal II: Living the Dream of TJ Harper who was a fictional footballer. Cannon recorded "Dime Piece" in 2006 and "My Wife" on the album Stages. The album was not released. Cannon was raised by his paternal grandfather , whom was his biological father, who he used to call "dad". As a youngster, Cannon grew up in Lincoln Park's Bay Vista Housing Projects, that is a notorious gang-fest area of Southeast San Diego. Cannon was part of the "Lincoln Park Bloods street group" when he was in his teens however, he later stated that he lost a friend and was able to decide to break off from his gang.
