Sarah Gray Rafferty, born December 6, 1972 is an American actress. She is best known for her performance in USA Network's legal drama Suits. She acknowledges her mother, Mary Lee Rafferty, as Chairwoman of the English Department at Convent of the Sacred Heart school, and her father, Michael Griffin Rafferty Jr. He has two lucrative career paths in finance and oil painting, which has helped to develop her love of the arts. The sisters she has include Maura, Ann, and Constance.Rafferty was a student at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts and was graduated in 1989. She studied English and theatre at Hamilton College, studied theatre abroad in the United Kingdom and at the University of Oxford during her junior year, and after graduating as a magna cum laude at Hamilton in 1993, she she went to study at the Yale School of Drama, earning an M.F.A. Arts.Rafferty's husband is Aleksanteri Olli-Pekka Seppala, an American with Finnish descent. He is an analyst in the stock market within the asset management department of Lazard Freres & Company. The 23rd of June, 2001 they were married in the Roman Catholic Church of St. Mary in Greenwich.
