Brent Langdon "Buzz", an American basketball coach, was born on September 1st in 1972. He is currently the Texas A&M University's head coach. From 2014 until 2019 he was head coach for Virginia Tech, Marquette, and New Orleans. He also was an assistant coach at Texas A&M, Texas A&M Kingsville, Northwestern State and Texas A&M. He earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Oklahoma City University in 1994 and a master's degree in the same field at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 1999. Williams got married to Corey Norman on December 20 the 20th of December, 2000. The couple had two daughters: Addyson and Zera, and two sons, Calvin and Mason, were born to them. A reference to his endless energy, his colleagues at Navarro College nicknamed him Buzz. He was inducted into the Navarro College athletic hall of fame in 2021.Williams was the coach at Marquette to a record of 25-10 in the 2008-09 season, where they lost to the Missouri Tigers in the Second Round of the 2009 NCAA tournament. He coached Marquette to a 22-12 mark in the 2009-10 season, which culminated with a narrow loss to the 11th seeded Washington Huskies in the First Round of the 2010 NCAA tournament.
