Brent Langdon "Buzz", an American basketball coach, was born on September 1 in 1972. He is currently Texas A&M University's coach. From 2014 until 2019, he was head coach at Virginia Tech, Marquette, and New Orleans. He also was an assistant coach at Texas A&M, Texas A&M Kingsville, Northwestern State and Texas A&M. He earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Oklahoma City University in 1994 and a master's degree in the same field at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 1999. Williams got married to Corey Norman on December 20, 2000. Two daughters, Addyson and Zera, and two sons, Calvin and Mason, were born to them. Buzz was his nickname at Navarro College for his unrelenting energy. He was inducted into the Navarro College athletic hall of fame in 2021.Williams has coached Marquette to a record of 25-10 in the 2008-09 campaign, in which they fell to the Missouri Tigers in the Second Round of the 2009 NCAA tournament. Marquette was led by James to a 22-12 record in the 2009-10 season. This led to an enthralling loss to the 11th seeded Washington Huskies at the First Round of the NCAA 2010.
