Brooke Shields

 Brooke Christa Shields, born May 31, 1965 was an American actress. At age 12 she began her career as modeling as a child. She was praised by critics for her role in the film by Louis Malle in 1978 Pretty Baby (1978). She modelled into her teen yearsand became a star in many dramas in the 1980s including Franco Zeffirelli’s Endless Love (1981) and The Blue Lagoon (1980). In 1983, Shields quit modeling to go to Princeton University. Shields played minor roles in films and returned to acting in the 1990s. She also starred in the NBC sitcoms Suddenly Susan (1996-2000), for which she received two Golden Globe nominations, and Lipstick Jungle (2008-2009). In 2017, Shields was back on NBC as a regular role in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit during the show's 19th season. Shields voices Beverly Goodman on the Adult Swim animated series Mr. Pickles since 2014.
