Daniela Sofia Korn Ruah (born on December 2nd, 1983)is an American and Portuguese actor and director who is best recognized for her role as NCIS Special Agent Kensi Blye in the CBS police procedural television show NCIS: Los Angeles.Ruah started acting in Portuguese soap operas at the age of teenager. At 16 she made her acting debut as Sara on Jardins Proibidos ("Forbidden Gardens"), where she played the lead role. Her father is Portuguese-Jewish and her mother's Jewish roots are located in Russia, Ukraine, and Portugal. Ruah is an American citizen who is a dual citizen of Portugal as well as the United America. The news media confirmed her as co-hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon with Catarina Furtado as well as Silvia Alberto. Her father is Portuguese-Jewish, and her mother's Jewish roots were in Russia, Ukraine, and Portugal. She is a dual citizen with Portuguese citizenship as well as American citizenship.
