Taraji

 araji Penda Henson(/t@'ra:dZi/ t@-RAH-jee; born on September 11 in 1970) is an American actress. She was a student at Howard University and began her Hollywood career as a guest in a variety of TV shows before getting her first big break in Baby Boy (2001). She was a prostitute in Hustle & Flow (2005) where she received a Screen Actors Guild Award in the category of Outstanding Performance for the Cast in a Motion Picture nomination. In 2008, she appeared in the character of a single mother with a disabled child in David Fincher's The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button (2008) for which she received Critics Choice Award, SAG Award, and Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress. She was in Date Night in 2010 and she also co-starred in the remake of The Karate Kid with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith. She was the lead in Taken from Me, a Lifetime Television movie.
