Jenny McCarthy

 Jennifer McCarthy Wahlberg (nee Jennifer Ann McCarthy; born on the 1st of November 1972) is an American actress, model and a television host. In 1993, she started her career as a naked model at Playboy magazine. Later, she was named their Playmate-of-the Year. McCarthy was later able to pursue a career in television and acting in film. She started her career as a co-host on Singled Out, a MTV game show (1995-1997) She then was in the role of Jenny (1997-1998). Other films she starred in include BASEketball (1998) as well as Scream 3 (2000). John Tucker Must Die (2006) and Santa Baby (2006). She also hosted her own talk show called The Jenny McCarthy Show. In 2013, she became co-host of The View on ABC. Since 2019, McCarthy has been a judge on the Fox musical competition show The Masked Singer.McCarthy has written several books on parenting and promoted research into environmental causes as well as alternative treatments for those suffering from autism. She has promoted the disproven belief that vaccines cause autism. She also claimed that chelation therapy, an unproven remedy, was able to cure her son of autism. McCarthy's evangelizing of these beliefs has been criticized as "dangerous", "reckless" and "uninformed".She is identified by news media as "the nation's most prominent advocate of anti-vaxxer ideology"and "the face of the anti-vaxx movement". [ She disputes the anti-vaccine label, saying she prefers the term "pro-safe-vaccine-schedule", a term that has met strong criticism.
