James Thomas Fallon was born on September 19 1974. He is an American comedian and actor. He is best known for his role as a Saturday Night Live cast member and host of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In 1998, he received an invitation to join the Saturday Night Live cast member. This was the fulfillment of a long-standing desire. Between 1998 between 1998 and 2004, he hosted the Weekend Update host on Saturday Night Live. He gained a lot of attention for this role. He left the show to star in films such as Taxi (2004) as well as Fever Pitch (2005).Following his film career, Fallon returned to television as host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on NBC in 2009, where was he drew attention for his focus on music and video games. He moved from that show to be the sixth host on the long-running Tonight Show in 2014. Alongside his TV work, he has released two comedy albums as well as seven books, mostly directed at children.
