Taraji

 Taraji Penda Henson (/t@'ra:dZi/ born on September 11 1970) is an American actress. After completing her studies in acting at Howard University, she began her Hollywood career as a guest actress on a variety of television shows. She made her acting debut in Baby Boy (2001). She was a prostitute in Hustle & Flow (2005) where she received a Screen Actors Guild Award in the category of Outstanding Performance for the Cast in a Motion Picture nomination. In 2008, she played the character of a single mom with a disabled child in David Fincher's The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button (2008) for which she won Critics Choice Award, SAG Award, and Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress. She was in Date Night in 2010 and she also co-starred in the remake of The Karate Kid with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith. She was a part of Taken from Me: A Tiffany Rubin Story, a Lifetime Television movie.
