Yvonne Craig

 Yvonne Joyce Craig, May 16, 1937 - August 17 15th, 2015. Craig was an American actress. Her most famous roles include Azalea Tatum's in 1964's Kissin' Cousins and also as Batgirl in the 1960s' TV show Batman. Other notable roles from her career include Dorothy Johnson in the 1963 film It Happened At the World's Fair, Azalea Tatum in the 1964 movie Kissin' Cousins, and playing the green-skinned Orion Marta in the Star Trek episode "Whom Gods Destroy" (1969).After being found by Alexandra Danilova a ballerina and instructor, Craig joined the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo as its newest corps de ballet participant. The training helped her when she performed stunts while performing as Batgirl. She quit the ballet company in 1957 "over disagreements over casting decisions" and relocated to Los Angeles in the hopes of pursuing her dancing career, but found herself being cast in films roles.One of her first TV appearances was in an episode from the TV series Perry Mason ("The Case of the Lazy Lover" 1958) alongside Neil Hamilton, who played her stepfather (later Hamilton played Police Commissioner James Gordon, Batgirl's father). She was in three films following the show: The Young Land, The Gene Krupa Story and Gidget.
